Hi, I’m Jesse Tack, co-leader of this Community of Learners.
My main passions and interests are growing food, growing a forest garden, permaculture design, water features, social space designs, and building my own personal paradise for my wife, dog, cat, friends, and family.
Milton and I set out to create something that got us excited, felt energizing, and that our clients actually wanted. This is that.
Join us and fellow growers as we speed up our learning, implementation, planning, and processes in this Gardening Community.
We all have our own personal 'next step', what's yours?
Hi, I’m Milton Dixon, co-founder of this Community of Learners.

All supporting prices grant you the same access to our Gardening Leaning Community. If money is abundant, share your abundance. If money is tight, join us for $20/month.
This service is perfect for anyone who is already growing a garden and looking for support, advice, best-practices, and ideas to implement on your own site.
Or total newbies looking to get started on the right foot, avoiding many mistakes.
Or experts looking to share their knowledge and pick up some cool ideas along the way.
There is always a next step. What is yours? You might be interested in starting a Food Forest, Forest Garden, or removing your lawn. Whatever it is, we have a wealth of experience to share.
Then you can implement what advice you’ve taken and share with the Community of Learners your lessons, obstacles, and successes.
Together, we advance on our ‘Essential Spiral’ by sharing our successes and failures.
Together, both of us have worked with permaculture clients, implemented forest gardens on 3 sites of our own, established and maintain an 8 acre food forest in a cooperative based on land-stewardship, and have mob-grazed sheep, raised chickens for meat, grown market gardens, sold microgreens commercially, grown sprouts, and started 1000’s of annual vegetables and perennial trees from seed.
Our libraries are vast and our experience is deep, but we do not know it all. That’s why we built a Learners Community, so we can all learn and share ideas!
This speeds up our own learning, inspires us to try new things, and is a wind behind everybody’s sails. What can you teach us? We want to learn.
No! We meet regularly in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas in Michigan to tour forest gardens, teach, talk permaculture, host classes, and organize Permablitzes.
Since we are open to the world wide web, we can only encourage you to do the same in your town, village, or community. Each Zoom call we will spark the flame of inspiration as we share what we are doing at our home sites and within our communities.
Would you like to do the same in your home town?
